Due to internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has become available for a Learning & Development Specialist to join our Learning & Development team. 

Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, you will primarily be responsible for ensuring the success of Datacom's internal traineeship program and providing training support to the wider L&D Team where required.  Additionally, you will work closely with our external RTO supplier and contribute to the creation of course and assessment material.

The Role:
  • Co-ordinate course facilitation  and course material for facilitation
  • Maintain and report on traineeship status
  • Working with RTO Supplier to create and maintain training and assessment resources to Australian Qualifications Framework standards
  • Daily training administrative duties
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities
  • Engagement with internal and external stakeholders to ensure validity of training and assessment tools
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required
About You:
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40110)
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate using Adult learning principles
  • Excellent organisational skills & the ability to prioritise. 
  • A high level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Experience working with an RTO
  • Due to Security Clearance requirements, Australian Citizenship is essential.
