The Role

This client facing position is critical to enable us to provide our enterprise level clients with exceptional service and you’ll be part of a top performing team. The team work across a range of complex projects within a variety of industries. In this role you’ll be exposed to testing at different levels component, system, integration and acceptance testing. Drafting test plans and developing automation scripts will also form a key part of your activities.
The Person
Automation testing experience in an Agile environment at an intermediate to senior level is vital for this role including the writing, executing and maintaining of automated test scripts, along with creating a test harness. Manual testing skills are also essential, along with a readiness to be hands on across all aspects of functional testing.
To be successful in this role, you will need;
- OO Programming experience; C#, Java preferred, all others considered.
- ISTQB or similar and prior experience in manual and technical testing
- Show deep understanding of object oriented design principles
- Proven experience developing automated test frameworks in Selenium/C# or Selenium/Java
- Proven experience building out automated tests within Selenium/C# or Selenium/Java frameworks
- Proven knowledge across unit, functional, system, integration and end-to-end testing
- Experience of CI/CD, source control systems and configuration management
- Proven ability to deliver quality results in a busy and dynamic business focused environment
- Proven experience in Agile and Dev/Ops development environments
- Ability to work in a team-oriented/collaborative environment
- Knowledge of software best practices, like test driven development and continuous integration
- Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Be technically skilful and genuinely interested in technology as a creative pursuit and not just a job
