We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Systems Engineer to join the high performing Shared Services team.
The Role
The role of Systems Engineer is to manage, monitor and maintain installed hardware, virtualization platforms, messaging and Windows server environments, and to provide proactive and reactive support services to ensure the availability and reliability of the client environment.
The Systems Engineer is responsible for the timely action of customers’ service requests within the agreed service levels, whilst maintaining accurate and timely updates to technical documentation and ticket notes.
The core objectives and responsibilities of the Systems Engineer include:
- Meet client SLAs for system availability, uptime and reliability
- Proactively manage and monitor the system environment for continuing business support
- Perform role responsibilities and duties as outlined below – during business hours and with after-hours and on-call as required
The Person
We are looking for someone who has 5+ years’ corporate IT experience in complex multi-server, multi-site and multi-domain environments. You will have strong knowledge of the following:
- Active Directory Domain Services
- Active Directory Federation Services
- Identity and Access Management (IAM)/Microsoft Identity Management (MIM)
In addition to the technical skills, you’ll have excellent time management and customer service skills. You’ll be able to select effective approaches to tasks or problems, setting a high professional standard and delivering outcomes while promoting innovation and improved ways of working.
